What Health Testing Do We Perform?

We pride ourselves in only breeding the best of the best! In order to do this we always perform at minimum all of the recommended health testing per the GRCA which includes testing for Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Cardiac Evaluation, and ACVO Eye Exam (this is performed every year)

The genetic screenings we do include testing for Ichthyosis (ICT), Prostatic Adenocarcinoma (PRAD), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-1 & PRA-2), Neuronal Ceroid-Lipofuscinoses (NCL), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM).

You may be wondering “why is it important to health test dogs?”

Health testing all of our dogs is a top priority. We do this to better the breed and ensure we are doing what is best for our dogs and the legacy of our dogs!

Dogs who aren’t health tested before breeding can cause the production of unhealthy dogs who may suffer lifelong illnesses and diseases.
